Definitely making some this weekend. My dessert cravings aren't really based on situations. Which is why I try not to keep them in my house. I definitely agree with Sid in that the situation can add to the "flavor" of any food. I love sitting around eating pie at Thanksgiving and making cookies for the holidays; I especially love when there are leftover lemon bars on the kitchen counter just calling to me as I make my morning tea (Thank you Sid's Mom)! I think one of the things that makes dessert more appealing is the idea that they are off limits. Sneaking brownie batter or a slice of pie makes it that much more delicious when it not allowed. :D Above all of these yummy treats my ultimate favorite dessert is a warm s'more cooked perfectly by campfire. I do love brownies, so I would say that is my one weakness. Cupcakes are wonderful too! But mainly I love to eat fruit as a dessert. I think what has really kept me away from sweets is my milk allergy, both a blessing and a curse! A curse because most sweets contain some sort of milk product and a blessing because I don't load up on bad things and have been able to keep in good shape!
