But I have to agree to a point with sid. Actually, Bridget and I have talked about this before. The real classic Christmas songs I honestly can't get enough of (at Christmas time; i.e., not a lick before Thanksgiving is over). I'm a sucker for anything Bing Crosby does including his whole Christmas album namely, White Christmas. Other's that I really enjoy are the Carpenter's and the John Denver & Muppets Christmas albums. All of these showcase the real good classic songs sung with killer vocals and/or funness (i.e., Miss Piggy). That music is a big part of Christmas for me...ohh and I can't leave out "Santa Baby". But as for those crappy 'steaming piles' that sid was talking about I totally agree. Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree is probably the worst song ever. And everytime I hear Jingle Bell rock I seriously want blow something up. So good Christmas music, a nice toasty fire, family, friends, food, and an endless supply of hot chocolate would make an ideal Christmas for me. Oh, and I'll take that hike too!
