I actually went up until yesterday never hearing Palin’s voice. I saw the SNL skit and remember thinking, “Why is she doing such a ridiculous accent? It can’t be that bad.” Well, it was closer then I would have ever thought possible. I listened to Palin speak for about eighteen or so seconds and started laughing. As a whole, the mere existence of Palin as vice-presidential candidate is still something I can’t reconcile in my head, as though the universe will somehow collapse on itself. I’m waiting for someone to shout “Got ya!”
Hello guys granted the conservative movement leaves a lot to be desired however though for the most part they do see the greatest damger to our freedom as in the cectic’s protected intolerance.Liberals for the most part embrace and encourage and protect religion as long as it isn’t christianity even though christianity is one of the more benign of the lot and it is the basis for the freedoms we enjoy.
Any attack on the intolerance of other religions gets liberals in a bad way even though most of the other religions would set back gay and women’s rights centuries and are not just rude to gays but actually kill them.
Supporting the rights of people who are the antithesis of your beliefs is just plain stupid.
Likewise with the large scale destruction of the minds of many youths via drugs is met with a shrug and even calls to legalize this behaviour by liberals.
Political correctness and liberalism have done a great disservice to America in many ways.
Yes they have done some good but have created a lot of havoc which people will be paying for for generations.
No I am not saying Palin is good and Obama is bad just that there is lots of faults on either side.
You “previous post” reference said a lot for the contempt and smugness that liberals have for others who disagree with them almost as if conservatives have some sort of mental problem.
Taken to the limit one could argue from a liberal perspective that elections are ridiculous since the philosopher kings (liberals) have got it all figured out and the great unwashed are all screwed up and will never get it.
The so called politically correct liberals are actually some of the most illiberal people in the world and might actually find this blogsite worthy of investigation.
Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it is an old saying which I am beginning to believe more and more.
So how about them Yankees?

See my previous post for one explanation as to why Palin seems to appeal to so many Americans.
I’m with you, though. Mentally, she is the continuation of the Bush administration.
